Information about Holiday Pay
Holiday Pay/Vacation Bonus
A separate Holiday Pay check up to 8 hours of pay is issued to Regular Assignment Employees* within 3 weeks of the holiday once the following parameters have been met:
- Have worked 1,000 career hours.
- Worked a minimum of 325 hours in the 13 weeks prior to the holiday.
- Work the business day before and after the holiday.
- Working on an assignment at the time holiday pay is issued.
Holiday Pay is available for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
A separate Vacation Bonus check and not time off is issued to Regular Assignment Employees* the second full week of July (i.e. the 1st falls on a Thursday that week is not counted as a week), once the following parameters have been met:
- Worked 1,200 hours in a 12 month period (between July 1st and June 30th).
- A Regular Assignment Employee* working on assignment at the time of payment.
- The bonus is calculated at the current rate of pay.
